FYI: I didn’t use AI to write any of this. I wrote it myself to show who I am. Using AI felt counterproductive to that exercise.
Who Am I? 🤙
- Chicagoan for 17+ years, former downstater, midwesterner through and through.
- UX Designer, coder (barely) who loves making things. (obviously)
- Dad to a 7 year old who I love more than anything. Being a dad is extremely important to me, it’s core to my life. Her kindergarten class voted me “silliest dad”, an honor I cherish.
- Photography is a constant in my life. I love capturing and saving beautiful moments. My friends call me “The Record Keeper”.
- Forever a spiritual seeker. I grew up conservative Christian and my faith is still very important to me, but it’s grown and shifted to be more inclusive, expansive, and freeing than I ever thought it could be.
- The Enneagram has been a massive tool for spiritual growth in my life. I’m a Type One, and learning about the roots of my personality has unlocked so much healing and growth.
- I’m not a health nut but I want to live well for a very long time. I love walking, biking, swimming, yoga and the occasional run.
- I love the Chicago Bears 🏈 and Chelsea FC ⚽, but my rule is: If the team loses, it will not ruin my day. It’s all just for fun.
- Movies > TV. I’d much rather be moved by a film than keep up with TV. Feel free to roast my thoughts on films at my Letterboxd.

Who I’m Looking For 👀
I want to find a super cute mom or a woman with a strong “want-to-be-a-mom” energy to build a life of being in tune to the challenges and joys of life. I want us to be equals, lovers, collaborators, confidantes, champions, did I mention lovers?, and the kind of couple who just really like each other. I want us to build a life that we both thrive in. I want us to take a nice vacation, but also really love just being at home. I want my community to feel like extended family to you and vice versa. I want us to explore ourselves, the world, and whatever comes at us.
The older I get the less certain I am about the future, but the more I am certain that loving people (your partner, your family, your children, your community, the Divine, yourself!) is paramount above all else. Doing the work of untangling ourselves from the pain, ungrieved grief, fear, etc has been the thing that’s changed everything. I want to find the last person I want to talk to each night. And when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible. And, I wanna make a baby with them ASAP. 😜
